The cost of the average UK wedding currently hovers around the £20k mark, and even modest ambitions can see that figure become eye wateringly excessive. While the cost of everything is on the rise, it’s no surprise that couples are understandably being cautious about how they tie the knot.

With so much pressure to hold the ‘perfect’ celebration, it’s heart-breaking to watch the budget dwindle and the dream disappear over the horizon. No wedding couple wants to trade lavishness for economy on their big day, nor should they have to - at Fenton Tower, we’re all about creating a magical event without the compromise.
 

A PLACE LIKE NO OTHER

It helps that we have the most stunning backdrop to begin with. Once you’ve ticked that box, the rest simply falls into place. Fenton Tower offers plenty of advantages, aside from being a spectacularly photogenic venue, both inside and out. We can accommodate 20 guests staying overnight with us, and 32 guests throughout the day and evening. Some of our couples have discovered that it’s a helpful way to limit guest numbers. Extended invitations can literally ‘eat’ into the budget.

And while we consider ourselves a more intimate venue, we certainly deliver a big impact.

From the moment you and your guests arrive, Fenton Tower becomes your very own castle. It’s hard to describe the atmosphere but some say it’s like a big, warm hug. Others call it ‘luxuriously homely’. What everyone agrees on, is that Fenton is a welcome like no other.

During your stay with us, our lovely, friendly staff will take care of you and your wedding party, preparing your rooms, which are individually designed, and making sure you have everything you need.

When it comes to your nuptials, they’ll be working in the background, attending to the details, leaving you to host your guests and make unforgettable memories.

At Fenton, we’re renown for our dining experiences. There’s nothing quite so impressive as the vaulted dining room when it’s dressed with crisp, white linen and the table is set with our hand painted, bespoke china and decorated with flowers. It sets the scene for a beautiful banquet and we can arrange for a piper to play your guests into diner, a Scottish tradition that evokes romance and splendour (and often a tear).

FEAST LIKE A LAIRD

Our team of local caterers will design a menu around your celebration, whether that’s a beautiful candle lit dinner or a high tea buffet, you’re in control. Of course we give our overnight guests a hearty Fenton breakfast, cooked to order by our own chef, and another opportunity to enjoy the grand dining table with your guests.

Unlike some venues, who insist that you must use in-house services, we leave the choice to you. Wedding couples are free to organise their own photographers, pipers, florists etc. but we do have a trusted little black book of suppliers and we’re happy to help with the arrangements on your behalf - we simply don’t wish to impose restrictions - it’s your big day!
